  16.     Dear Author/Developer, 
  17.     
  18.      We have initiated an all new file distribution network known as 
  19.     WDNet. This was created for the sole distribution of Wildcat
  20.     programs and utilities. If you are a Wildcat 3rd party developer, 
  21.     this will greatly benefit your abilty to spread your program to 
  22.     the Wildcat community. The files will be sent on to the Wildcat
  23.     Headquarters BBS in Bakersfield CA, as well as distributed to all
  24.     the WDNetwork members automatically. 
  25.     
  26.      If you wish to have your file distributed, you have several
  27.     options available to you. They are as follows:
  28.     
  29.     1. You may send them via SnailMail to the mailing address shown
  30.        below.
  31.     
  32.     2. You may upload them directly to The Freezing Point BBS at 
  33.        the number listed below.
  34.     
  35.     3. You may transmit the file with a Front end mailer such as 
  36.        D'Bridge, FrontDoor, or BinkleyTerm to the FidoNet address
  37.        listed below. Or by routing through the RIME mail network
  38.        to node name FREEZING.
  39.     
  40.      If you do decide to use the UPLOAD method you may on the first
  41.     call be upgraded to AUTHOR level. To do this, upon filling out the
  42.     NEWUSER questionnaire, answer YES to the question that asks if you
  43.     are a Wildcat author/developer and you will have instant access to 
  44.     the BBS!
  45.     
  46.      In addition to all the files included in your archive, we ask 
  47.     that you also include a file named DESC.SDI which is a ONE LINE
  48.     description of your program. It should not be longer than 60
  49.     characters in length. This is quickly becoming a standard file
  50.     to include in all archives. It should look something like this:

  52.      WDNet/PRoWL - Information, Node listings, App, etc..06/12/92

  54.     WILDMAIL! v2.00 is an echomail processor for WILDCAT! v3.xx BBS
  55.     software.  WILDMAIL! v2.00, hereinafter, referred to as WM,
  56.     processes standard Fidonet compatible mail archives received from
  57.     a front end mailer like D'Bridge, FrontDoor or BinkleyTerm.  After
  58.     unpacking, WM processes the .PKT files and tosses those messages
  59.     directly into the corresponding WILDCAT! message conferences.  It
  60.     also forwards those incoming messages to nodes (up/downstream) as
  61.     specified in the AREAS.BBS file.

  63.     Note the format of the first three lines: 
  64.     
  65.     1. Short description no more that 60 characters in length
  66.     2. Key words, no more than six
  67.     3. Actual file name
  68.
